What to expect for your appointment . . .
Body Sovereignty
Before your first massage . . .
- We discuss your needs.
- I explain my approach and what you can expect.
- You give written and verbal consent.
While I bring expertise to the session, ultimately, you're in charge because it's your body.
Custom Sessions
Each session is a little different because your body's needs are different.
A nice balance of what you expect and what your body needs is my aim for every session.
Tipping's Not Expected
What you see is what you pay.
I don't upsell or charge extra for different modalities or applications.
I also don't expect tips.
Pressure
I'm often asked if my massage is deep tissue.
As you can imagine, that will differ from person to person.
What people typically want is results. Working with how the nervous system functions is how you get results.
My intent is to give you results you wanted for the session with the pressure you prefer.
Silence At Last
Would you prefer silence? You got it.
I like to receive my massages in silence too so I understand.
Do you prefer to chat? I do that too. I take your cue.
The only conversations I initiate during massage are related to treatment.
Body Appreciation
Your body is magical. It really is.
It works relentlessly to carry you through this incredabulous world.
So press pause on any insecurity and speak appreciatively to your body.
Your body deserves to be thanked and blessed for all it does.
Cleanliness
I sanitize between sessions.
All linens used during session are washed.
Unscented, Non-Greasy Cream
I create an unscented space.
I don't use additional essential oils or scented creams as many have reported sensitivities to them after routine use.
Also, the cream I use is recommended for bridal parties because it won't harm valuable clothing.
So your nose and your clothes are safe with me.
Heated Table
Nothing like slipping into warm, cozy, clean sheets.
The heat's adjustable to your comfort level and of course, can be adjusted to your preference.
Careful Draping
I remember wondering why I felt so secure during massages before massage school.
It's all in the draping! So important.
I do my best to ensure you feel secure during the massage.
This makes relaxing all the more easier.
Sacred Duty
As a medical practitioner, it's my sacred duty to DO NO HARM.
I extend this to my business practices. I don't push products for easy profit or set up business plans and call them "treatment plans".
This is a fad-free space.
Our medical/client relationship is sacred and your health is my top priority.
Team Approach
Surround yourself with your own team of experts.
When you come to me, that's exactly what you're doing.
We've built an excellent network of medical practitioners and fitness trainers to support your health journey.
